What changed
The app is now built around speaking. Pick a tutor, choose your level from beginner to proficient, and start talking in lessons, role-plays, or free talk.
- AI tutor conversations: Bite-size lessons on everyday topics, 100+ role-plays (restaurant, hotel, directions, job interview), and free talk by voice or text. The tutor reads every reply aloud and explains new words in your language.
- Instant feedback: Scores for grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency, plus “better way to say it” suggestions and one-tap translation.
- Kana & kanji tracing: All 46 hiragana and 46 katakana with audio, and 1,000+ kanji organized by JLPT level from N5 to N1. Watch the stroke order, then trace each character.
- Daily Words: Nearly 10,000 JLPT-tagged words with furigana example sentences, a daily goal, and a Home Screen widget that teaches a new word every hour.
- Fresh design: Progress stats with streaks and a skill radar, review lists, and reminders.
